Adsense Tips – Getting a new account in the UK
July 2nd, 2007OK so in the modern times it is always a good idea to have a few Adsense accounts, sure you arent supposed to but I have a bit of a work aorund.
This is written from a UK perspective so I would be grateful if anyone from over the pond could tell us how this would work in the States.
Simply nip into your local bank and ask to see the business advisor about opening an account. Tell them that you are starting a part time business and need an account as a sole trader to keep your trading neat. Tell them that you are going to call it whatever “Advertising for Clicks” or something less blatant and very quickly youll have a new bank account with the account holder as “Your name Trading as Advertising for Clicks”.
So what you say? Well when you sign up a new Adsense account they ask for who the payee is, well you can simply say “Advertising for Clicks” and get the cheques. These will pay into that account with no problems and no questions asked.
Be creative when they ask for your name…. and the world is chock full of addresses to send to. For instance my village can be described in 3 ways that I can swap between and still get the mail.

But how about the tax issues? Don’t the banks (or AdSense) report this to tax collection agencies? Wouldn’t you need to register a company which such name?
They can – I declare it all on my self assesment form and I pay the tax on my earnings…
What if I was already banned once and would like a fresh start. Can I just apply or are there any strings attached?
As long as they dont tie the two accounts together in any way a ban shouldnt ever mean that you cant find a way to get a new account – trust me on that i speak from experience.
