Joost has just launched a new firefox extension that adds extra useful info to your Google Webmaster Tools external links.

It turns whats a boring list of links into a mass of useful info and I cant recommend it enough…

(Even though the cheeky seo twat didnt think a post from my blog was worth it…)

So I’m sitting in a kids play area whilst Laura tries out their new ’slide of death’ and reading the latest issue of .net magazine. This month they have an interview with Wikipedia’s Jimmy Wales about his new for profit search engine Wikia. I don’t know if he’s dumb or brilliant but here’s a quote that made me chuckle:-

“There will also be a social community similar to Wikipedia’s that will be able to change algorithms and get involved in ranking”

Well then i look forward to helping Jimmy build his engine! Either through helping define the algo or helping him by showing what areas of security need to be improved lol

I know this is my own fault for allowing our good friends in Redmond to install IE7 on my machine but ever since they did Trillian has been crashing on me everytime I run it. I think it may have sorted itself but id love to hear about anyone else having these issues.
